Accessing Qualtrics

Intended Audience: Faculty and Staff

Summary

Qualtrics is the university’s tool for surveys, research projects, and automated services. It is also used within Academic Affairs to manage automated document processes. To gain access, you must first complete training available through eCourses.

Problem

Faculty and staff who need to use Qualtrics for surveys or automated workflows often encounter access barriers. Many are unaware that Qualtrics requires prior training through eCourses or that inactive eCourses accounts must be reactivated before access is granted.

Solution

By completing the mandatory eCourses training and ensuring your account is active, you will gain access to PVAMU’s Qualtrics platform. Once approved, you can log in using your PV credentials and begin creating surveys or using the tool for official academic and administrative purposes.

Steps

Before beginning, note that eCourses access is required to complete the training. If you haven’t used eCourses recently, you may need to request an account.

  1. Confirm your eCourses account

    • If you have never used eCourses or haven’t accessed it, email ciits@pvamu.edu to request an account.

  2. Log in to eCourses

    • Go to eCourses and sign in using your PV credentials.

  3. Locate the Qualtrics Training

    • From the eCourses home page, select Resources from the left navigation menu.

    • Click on the Qualtrics button at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Complete the Training Modules

    • Review each available module.

    • Finish the How to Access Qualtrics module.

  5. Log into Qualtrics
