The PV Mobile Net network is a secure, encrypted and authenticated wireless network. Access to PVAMU wireless network requires a pre-shared key (PSK) and your PVAMU PanthernetID and password.
Guests and Visitors
Guests can use PVAMU-Guest for basic Internet access after accepting the university acceptable use policy. Guests can self-service register using a non-PVAMU email account and mobile phone number.
PVAMU Student, Faculty & Staff
Windows & Mac Computers
1. Select PVmobilenet from the list of available networks
2. Enter the wireless pre-shared key and open a browser
3. Login with your PantherNetID username and password.
**After the policy key is installed, the login web page will automatically display when you are connecting to a network using Safe Connect.

Chromebooks, IPads & Mobile Phones
1. Select PVmobilenet from the list of available networks
2. Login with your PantherNetID username and password.
PVAMU Guests Wireless
1. Select PVAMU-Guest from the list of available networks
2. Click the button at the bottom to Request a Guest Account and follow the directions.
3. Guests can self-service register using a non-PVAMU email account and mobile phone number.
4. Once you have registered your device, you should receive a guest username and password by email or text message.
Eduroam
Eduroam is a global Wi-Fi service that enables all PVAMU faculty, staff, and students to obtain secure and fast Internet connectivity both on campus and while visiting other participating institutions.
Visitors to PVAMU from other participating institutions can use eduroam while on campus. The visitor must have the eduroam network configuration on their device with their home institution’s credentials.
