Faculty & Staff Accounts
PantherNetID
The PantherNet ID is a unique account name that identifies you as a member of the PVAMU community, with access to the Prairie View A&M University network of computing resources and services. Your PantherNet ID is a permanent and visible part of your PVAMU identity; it is your name before the @ in your PVAMU email address. Your PantherNet ID will be with you throughout your affiliation with PVAMU. Employees are automatically given a PantherNetID and password during New Employee Orientation. The account is good for the length of employment with the university
Password Management Tool
The Password Management Tool allows students, faculty and staff to change or reset their password from a secure website on any computer connected to the Internet. The Password Management Tool is compatible with all major browsers including Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox.
Wireless Guest Accounts
PVAMU hosts many visitors on any given day. Some are visiting students, some are vendors on campus for meetings, some are participants in a PVAMU hosted conference. Many visitors ask about guest wireless access. PVAMU offers a solution for ITS managed wireless services. Please use the SafeConnect Guest User Instructions.

Special Purpose AD Account
Special Purpose AD Accounts may be created to address the needs for a particular function or organization to access PVAMU computer and network services. Special Purpose AD Accounts provide access to the required ITS services. If you would like to apply for a Special Purpose AD Account, complete the Special Purpose AD Account Request Form.
