Intended Audience: Faculty and Staff
Summary
This article explains how PVAMU employees can request a university-issued cell phone for official business use. Eligible employees must have roles requiring frequent communication outside standard hours or mobile access to university systems. Requests are submitted through the University Cell Phone Request Form, reviewed by the department head and Vice President, and fulfilled by IT upon approval. Devices are for official use only, remain university property, and must be returned if the employee separates or changes roles.
