How to Request Transcripts with Parchment at PVAMU

Intended Audience: Students and Alumni

Summary

Parchment is the official transcript and credential delivery service for PVAMU and several other Texas A&M University System campuses. It provides a secure way to send electronic or paper transcripts to employers, graduate schools, or other universities. Using Parchment saves time, reduces errors, and ensures that your records reach their destination promptly.

Problem

Students and alumni often need to send official transcripts to institutions or employers. Manual requests can cause delays, lost mail, or incomplete submissions, which may impact job applications or admissions decisions.

Solution

PVAMU offers transcript requests through Parchment Send, an online service that allows you to request and track transcripts anytime. Transcripts can be sent electronically (fastest method) or by mail. For admissions purposes, PVAMU also accepts high school transcripts submitted via Parchment.

Steps

Steps

Follow these steps to request a transcript through Parchment:

  1. Go to the PVAMU Transcript Request page
    Visit: PVAMU Transcript Request

You will be redirected to the secure Parchment portal.

  3. Create or log in to your Parchment account
If this is your first time, set up an account using your personal email (not your PVAMU student email, especially if you’ve graduated).

  4. Choose delivery method

    • Electronic PDF – Delivered within hours (most common).

    • Paper transcript – Sent by mail to the requested address.

  5. Pay any applicable fees
Costs vary depending on the delivery option.

  6. Track your order
Parchment provides email updates and status tracking through your account.
