Office 365 is a cloud-based set of applications by Microsoft. Prairie View A&M University has deployed online Email (Outlook), and will deploy additional applications such as OneDrive, & Teams shortly.

Email Attacks

Phishing emails are emails designed get you to compromise your account by a cybercriminal by requesting you to not only to provide your user name, password or other sensitive data, but can also be used as a way to compromise your system. The emails attack can appear to come from external companies or from internal sources with a company email. They often have a sense of urgency or can make promises such as giving a raise, a promotion etc.

How to Access Shared Mailbox

Open a shared mailbox to Outlook.

After your admin has added you as a member of a shared mailbox, close and then restart Outlook. The shared mailbox should automatically display in your Folder pane in Outlook.

Community to receive announcements and personal announcements.

Zoom

Zoom’s web-based conferencing uses high-quality video and audio and is accessible on MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android mobile devices. Additionally, Zoom can be used with conventional phone lines for audio conferencing. Finally, this online platform can also connect to existing Smart Labs that contain Polycom, Tandberg, LifeSize, and similar devices.
